Bethany Lutheran Church is a multi-cultural worshipping community that prays, loves, and serves in the name of Jesus Christ. We are committed to making disciples and we do that through our weekly worship and discipleship group. Nearly 75 years ago God planted our congregation in the Greenville neighborhood and even to this day God is calling us to love and serve our neighbors here and throughout Jersey City and beyond. Some of the ways that God uses us to serve our neighborhood is by providing a once a month food pantry that serves over 150 families and by hosting a six-week summer Vacation Bible Camp program open to all children up to 6th grade. Bethany is a congregation of the New Jersey Synod which is a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. (Tag: Church Jersey City)

If you believe that God listens and responds to prayer, come and pray with us for God to send the Holy Spirit to bring healing, peace, and hope to our neighborhood, city, and world.
Wear something Red (symbolizing the Holy Spirit) and bring something to make noise (Shaker/Rattle/Bell/etc.)
Join us for lunch afterwards across the street at Bethany Church.
